MUMBAI, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- India's Dixon Technologies will manufacture LED TV for South Korean electronic major Samsung at its facility located in Tirupati in the southeastern state of Andhra Pradesh, 253 km East of Bengaluru, the company said on Friday.

An agreement was entered between the two companies, said a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"Considering the faith, they (Samsung) have bestowed on Dixon by collaborating in Washing Machines, mobile phones and now LED TVs, and we are hopeful that our partnership grows sturdier with time," said Sunil Vachani, executive chairman of Dixon Technologies (India) Limited.

Dixon Technologies is engaged in manufacturing consumer durables, lighting and mobile phones markets in India including LED TVs, washing machines, CCTV among others across its 10 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the northern states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and southeastern state of Andhra Pradesh.
