BEIJING, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- Zhejiang Lions power forward Hu Jinqiu and Zhejiang Golden Bulls shooting guard Marcus Edward Denmon were named Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Players of the Week on Saturday.
Hu averaged 24.7 points, 15.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.3 steals. Winning two across three matches in the past week, Zhejiang Lions sit ninth among 20 CBA teams with a 14-10 win-loss record.
Denmon led Zhejiang Golden Bulls to a perfect record in three games of the week, with an average of 40.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 2.3 steals.
Having played one fewer game, Zhejiang Golden Bulls rank sixth with 15 victories from 23 matches.
Both players have been named into the South Conference line-up for next weekend's CBA All-Star Game. Enditem
