TASHKENT, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Following the second round of voting on Sunday, Uzbek Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced the final results of the elections for the 150-seat lower house of the parliament.

The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan won 53 seats, the National Revival Democratic Party gained 36 seats, the Social Democratic Party Adolat got 24 seats, the People's Democratic Party obtained 22 seats and the Ecological Party acquired 15 seats, the press service said.

The second round of voting was held in 25 constituencies out of total 150 on Sunday.

On Dec. 22, people in Uzbekistan voted for a parliament with a 71.1-percent turnout, which the CEC called a great achievement for the country.

A total of 825 observers, as well as representatives of nine international organizations and 41 foreign countries including China, observed the first round of voting in all regions of the country.
