6.6-magnitude quake hits 10 km South of Indios, Puerto Rico -- USGS

BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted 10 km South of Indios, Puerto Rico at 08:24:26 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 7.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.9 degrees north latitude and 66.8 degrees west longitude.
