Mongolia, Japan, U.S. to hold trilateral meeting

ULAN BATOR, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia, Japan and the United States have a trilateral diplomatic meeting slated for Friday, the Mongolian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

A Mongolian delegation led by Damdinsuren Davaasuren, state secretary of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry, will participate in the meeting to be held in Washington, the capital of the United States, the ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, the three sides are expected to discuss ways to strengthen trilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, the statement said.
