BEIJING, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- A nationwide lecture tour aimed at promoting core socialist values has yielded good results and been well received by members of the public, according to a symposium held after the conclusion of the 100th lecture Friday in Beijing.
The lecture tour, which started in 2014, has widely spread the values and cultural confidence of contemporary China, said participants of the symposium.
Top-notch scholars and role models in upholding core socialist values were invited to give lectures which were also broadcast live online to reach a wider audience.
The symposium called for efforts to fully implement the outlines for boosting civic morality and patriotic education issued by central authorities to further promote core socialist values.
