Sadness has made its way to Issam Darwish's paintings that reflected the Syrian war in his gallery in Damascus. Before the war, his paintings largely depicted women's beauty as well as nature with heavenly colors. Now, his artworks have become mono-toned and the women he always drew have become heavy hearted.
