Poland's Kubacki wins Ski Jumping world cup in Titisee-Neustadt

BERLIN, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Newly-crowned Four Hills champion Dawid Kubacki of Poland claimed his second FIS Ski Jumping World Cup title of the season in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany on Saturday.

The 29-year-old Pole landed two jumps of 140.5 meters and 141 meters, accumulating a total of 290.1 points to top the podium. Austrian jumper Stefan Kraft took the silver with 135.5 meters, 140.5 meters and 283.7 points, 0.9 points ahead of Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi (138.5 meters, 138.5 meters, 282.8 points).

Karl Geiger of Germany, who has been struggling on his home slopes, finished 12th on Saturday, and still leads the overall 2019-20 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup table with 841 points, ahead of Kraft (779 points), Kobayashi (715 points) and Kubacki(664 points).
