Zhou Qi steers Xinjiang to 114-111 win over Liaoning in CBA

SHENYANG, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Xinjiang Flying Tigers rallied from 19 points down to beat Liaoning Flying Leopards 114-111 on the road in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Sunday.

Liaoning started the match with a 12-3 run and finished first quarter 25-20. The hosts continued their momentum in the second quarter, while Lance Stephenson and Liu Zhixuan scored three-pointers. Xinjiang's Xirelijiang scored three 3-pointers help Xinjiang close on 57-52 at halftime.

The match was still very tough until Xinjiang's Zhou Qi scored a three-pointer to give the visitors a 114-108 lead with 30 seconds remaining. Liaoning had no time to take the game back.

Lance Stephenson led Liaoning with 31 points and seven rebounds. Brandon Bass finished with 22 points and four rebounds. Han Dejun added a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Xinjiang's former New Orleans Pelicans guard Ian Clark scored a game-high 34 points and 13 assists. Zhou Qi had 20 points and 12 rebounds.
