SHANGHAI, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai has elected Jiang Zhuoqing to be the director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress.
Jiang was born in August 1959 and started working in September 1977. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Currently, he also serves as a member of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC.
