FRANKFURT, Jan.20 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 22.81 points, or 0.17 percent, to close at 13,548.94 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 1.57 percent. Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical and energy group RWE rose by 1.47 percent and 1.07 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.16 percent. German airlines Lufthansa and automotive supplier Continental went down by 2.00 percent and 1.29 percent respectively.
Wirecard was the most-traded share with a turnover of 147.4 million euros (163.7 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
