Celebrate Chinese New Year in Mexico, by turning your bicycle into a rat

Creative mind is needed to turn your bicycle into a rat!

MEXICO CITY, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Dozens of works were shown during a bicycle zodiac decoration competition held here recently, a way for locals to get a picture of the unique culture of Chinese New Year.

The Chinese New Year, celebrated in most of Asia as the Lunar New Year, falls early this year on Jan. 25. It is based on a 12-year Zodiac cycle of characters, with 2020 being the Year of the Rat.

In the Chinese zodiac, the rat symbolizes wit and dexterity, also wealth, prosperity, and new beginnings.
