WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted 65 km SW of Amatignak Island, Alaska at 0631 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 1.0 km, was initially determined to be at 50.924 degrees north latitude and 179.875 degrees west longitude.
