MADRID, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona confirmed on Friday that they have signed forward Francisco Trincao from Portuguese club Sporting de Braga for 31 million euros (around 34 million US dollars).
Trincao has agreed to a recession clause of 500 million euros and has agreed a contract until the end of June 2025.
The left-footed 20-year-old is considered one of the big promises of the Portuguese game, scoring three goals in 21 league appearances and once in four games in the Europa League.
He is also a regular member of the Portuguese Under-21 squad.
The FC Barcelona website confirms that the youngster will remain with Sporting de Braga for the rest of the season before moving to his new club at the start of July.
