#InWard:Health workers at isolation wards in Wuhan

A glimpse into the isolation wards in Wuhan, epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

WUHAN, Feb. 6, (Xinhua) -- To fight the novel coronavirus outbreak, China has mobilized medical resources nationwide to treat infected people, taken decisive measures to curb its spread, and closely cooperated with the international community.

Patients with the coronavirus have to recieve treatment in isolation. Health workers put on protective suits, masks, goggles and disposable gloves to protect themselves before entering the isolation wards.

A total of 1,153 patients infected with the novel coronavirus had been discharged from hospital after recovery by the end of Wednesday, Chinese health authorities announced Thursday.
