China's output of non-ferrous metals up in 2019

BEIJING, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's output of 10 non-ferrous metals stood at 58.42 million tonnes in 2019, up 3.5 percent year on year, said the National Reform and Development Commission in citing data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

Among them, the output of refined copper was 9.78 million tonnes, up 10.2 percent year on year.

The output of primary aluminum was 35.04 million tonnes, down 0.9 percent year on year.

Lead output was 5.8 million tonnes, up 14.9 percent year on year.

Zinc output was 6.24 million tonnes, up 9.2 percent year on year.

The output of processed copper materials was 20.17 million tonnes, up 12.6 percent year on year.

Alumina output was 72.47 million tonnes, down 1.0 percent year on year.

The output of aluminum stood at 52.52 million tonnes, up 7.5 percent year on year.
