2 shot dead in dispute at police station in Lebanon's capital

BEIRUT, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- An officer and a solider were shot dead at the Ouzai police station in Lebanon's capital of Beirut, local LBCI TV channel reported on Tuesday.

The report said the two were killed after intervening in a dispute between a citizen and his arrested brother.

Security forces told LBCI that Hassan Al Hussein, who was visiting his arrested brother, released 25 other people who were previously detained at the Ouzai police station following the clash with the officer and his soldier.
