MUSCAT, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- An Omani-U.S. joint air force drill codenamed Precision Testing began on Sunday, the official Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) is taking part in the exercise with support by the Omani navy and U.S. Air Force, according to a statement by the Morale Guidance carried by ONA.

The war game aims to upgrade RAFO's combat readiness, activate the concept of joint air force action and raise the standard of operational coordination between the Omani armed forces and their counterparts from friendly countries, said the statement.
