JERUSALEM, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, a state-owned Israeli technology company, unveiled on Thursday an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) system, which can remotely identify military pilot's distress and take control of the aircraft.

According to Rafael, the system can detect a pilot's unusual psychological distress, say when enemy fire is opened at him, and takes control of the aircraft autonomously.

The system, built of joystick and sensors, detects changes in the pilot's grip during military missions.

The system is also suitable for remotely operated military tools, such as UAVs or driverless military jeeps, and for soldiers operating a missile in enemy territory.

According to Rafael, at the end of development process, the system will be able to operate wherever any soldier interacts with a system, at sea, land and air.
