BEIJING, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- China has arranged sets of customized trains for migrant workers' returning to work amid the fight against the novel coronavirus, said an official circular.

The circular, issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Transport and three other departments, called for a better information gathering of the migrant workers through online and offline platforms for more precise services of the "point-to-point" direct trains.

Meanwhile, epidemic prevention education and temperature measurement for the workers shall be conducted before hitting the road, said the circular.

The chartered trains should connect with coaches, urban buses and railway services of the destinations for a better transition. Traffic management should also be strengthened, it said.

After arriving, the circular urged localities to coordinate with relevant enterprises to arrange their returning affairs, as well as setting up files for the workers' health management.

Workers who have fever, cough and other symptoms should be immediately quarantined for observation and immediately sent for diagnosis, the circular stressed.

The circular also called for enterprises and workplaces to establish quarantine sites, carry out sanitary overhaul and disinfection in key places and distribute masks and other protective equipment to employees.
