Auto and electronic sectors with long industrial chains will be supported first, and focus will also be given to strategic emerging industries, such as 5G and industrial Internet, to revive consumption at the intelligent terminal end, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Monday.

The ministry encouraged regions with vehicle purchase restrictions to increase license quotas to keep the car consumption stable, the circular said.

China will also ramp up efforts to coordinate all firms in the medical supply industrial chain to resume work simultaneously in an all-out effort to ensure supply.
