5.2-magnitude quake hits 79km W of Santiago de Cao, Peru -- USGS

BEIJING, February 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 79km W of Santiago de Cao, Peru at 04:15:02 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 31.93 km, was initially determined to be at 8.0653 degrees south latitude and 79.9568 degrees west longitude.
