BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- The daily output of N95 masks in China exceeded 1.07 million pieces per day as of Monday, 4.7 times that of the data registered on Feb. 1, the National Development and Reform Commission said Wednesday.
From Feb. 1 to 25, China mobilized a total of 3.04 million pieces of N95 masks to Hubei Province, the center of the coronavirus outbreak, to ensure sufficient supplies for frontline medical staff, according to figures from the commission.
The commission said it has asked related enterprises to expand production and coordinated the supply of key raw materials to ensure an adequate supply of masks. ■
