BEIJING, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- The daily number of newly cured and discharged novel coronavirus patients on the Chinese mainland has surpassed that of new infections for the ninth consecutive day, the National Health Commission said Thursday.
Wednesday saw 2,750 people on the mainland walk out of hospital after recovery, much higher than the new confirmed infections, which was 433.
A total of 32,495 patients infected with the novel coronavirus had been discharged from hospital by the end of Wednesday, according to the commission. ■
