BEIJING, March 20 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing-based Capital Museum announced that it will solicit from the public various material evidence on the country's efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The solicitation scope includes diaries, letters, working tools, photos and audio-video materials of the frontline personnel in the fight against the epidemic.

Items such as community entry cards, work permits and registration forms are also included to display people's participation in and support of the anti-virus fight.

Meanwhile, materials showing how people ensure the supply of medical supplies and resume production and work will also be collected.

Anti-epidemic themed films and TV dramas, paintings, sculptures and songs, are also included in the solicitation scope.

The museum will solicit the material evidence for free and donors need to send a 100-word statement for each donation to the museum via phone, email or social media. It will issue a certificate to donors after their donations are selected.

In 2003, the museum collected over 2,000 pieces of material evidence demonstrating the capital city's efforts to contain the spread of SARS.
