Liang Xiaozhe works at a start-up business base of Miao clothes in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, March 17, 2020. Twenty years ago, Liang Xiaozhe decided to return to Yubu Miao Village, Xiangfen Town, to set up a Miao clothing embroidery production studio as a response to her hometown vigorously developing tourism and culture industry to shake off poverty. After years of hard work, Liang Xiaozhe has become an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Guangxi. She has led 30 women out of poverty. Rongshui Miao Autonomous County is a deeply impoverished county in Guangxi and a key county in the national poverty alleviation and development work. It is also a major labor export county. Working outside is the main approach for many poor families to increase their income. In recent years, with the deepening of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, many women who worked in other places have returned to their hometowns and used their learned skills to start their own businesses.
