MACAO, March 27 (Xinhua) -- The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) government on Friday reported three newly confirmed imported COVID-19 cases, taking the tally of all confirmed cases to 34.

The 32th and 33th cases are both non-resident workers from the Philippines, who took a flight from Manila of the Philippines to Hong Kong on March 17, and had a 14-day medical observation at home after entering Macao.

The initial tests for the two on Thursday showed positive for novel coronavirus-related infection, and further tests confirmed the infection.

The 34th case is a 43-year-old male Macao resident returning from Manila on March 18 with his son and daughter. They had a 14-day medical observation at home after entering Macao and the father had a positive result of a antibody test and pneumonia symptom by CT chest scans.

However, the medical examination of his daughter showed that the girl had novel coronavirus before but has currently recovered. His son was test negative but is still receiving medical observation in quarantine.
