SINGAPORE, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Singaporeans have observed social distancing "extremely seriously" as the confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 1,114 as of Friday.

Meanwhile, Singapore will close most workplaces and schools will move to full home-based learning from next Tuesday to minimise the COVID-19 spread.
