Wiping out poverty from the "roof of the world"! One year ago, Tsering Yangzom and Konchok Namgyal, a newly-wed couple, came to work as poverty alleviation officials in a plateau village at an altitude of 5,000 meters in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Over the past year, the couple have been dedicated to visiting villagers frequently and offering financial support for villagers. Their efforts finally helped lift the village's last 15 families out of poverty.
