JINAN, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Li Ganjie was appointed deputy governor and acting governor of east China's Shandong Province on Friday.
The appointment was made at the 19th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th Shandong Provincial People's Congress, which is the local legislature.
The meeting also accepted the resignation of Gong Zheng as governor of Shandong.
Previously in late March, Gong was appointed vice mayor and acting mayor of Shanghai Municipality. Enditem
