KABUL, April 25 (Xinhua) -- The number of patients infected with COVID-19 in Afghanistan has risen to 1,463, as 133 new positive cases have been confirmed in the country over the past 24 hours, spokesman for Public Health Ministry Wahidullah Mayar said Saturday.
According to Mayar, four patients have died over the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll of the COVID-19 in Afghanistan to 47 since the outbreak of the virus in mid February.
Meanwhile, Mayar said that 206 more patients have recovered over the period. Enditem
