Bangladesh's tallest man passes away due to brain illness

DHAKA, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's tallest man, most widely known as Jinnat Ali, has died.

Ali, who was 8 feet 6 inches (around 2.50 meters) tall, died on Tuesday after a long battle with brain tumour.

Ali, born in 1996, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the neurosurgery department of a hospital in the country's southeastern seaport city Chattogram on Tuesday.

Due to a hormonal imbalance, doctors had earlier said his height was increasing abnormally. Enditem
