ISU announces speed skating World Cup calendar for next two seasons

BEIJING, April 29 (Xinhua) -- The International Skating Union (ISU) announced on Tuesday the speed skating World Cup calender for the 2020-21 and 2021-2022 season, with Changcun of Northeast China's Jilin province to host one leg in 2021.

According to the calendar, the 2020-21 season will begin on November 13, 2020 in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland. The World Cup will then move on to Stavanger (Norway), Salt Lake City (United States), Calgary (Canada) and Changchun (China), before coming to an end in March , 2021, after the Final in Heerenveen, the Netherlands.

The ISU announced earlier that the World Championships to be held from February 25 to 28, 2021 in Beijing in will be the test event for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
