MINSK, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 890 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, taking its total to 14,917.
The country's health ministry said 2,918 patients have recovered, while 93 patients with chronic diseases have died from COVID-19.
As of Friday, over 186,000 tests for COVID-19 have been conducted across the country. Confirmed cases account for 8 percent of the number of tests performed. Enditem
