MINSK, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 877 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, taking its total to 16,705.
The Health Ministry said 3,196 patients have recovered, while 99 patients with chronic diseases have died from the pandemic.
As of Sunday, over 204,000 tests for the coronavirus infection have been conducted across the country. The confirmed cases account for 8.1 percent of the number of tests performed. Enditem
