BUDAPEST, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Hungary has prepared its healthcare system to handle mass coronavirus infections thanks to hard work over the past months, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said on his Facebook page on Sunday.

Szijjarto's post was accompanied by pictures of airplanes being unloaded of medical cargo arriving from China.

Seven aircraft arrived in Hungary over the weekend, said Szijjarto, who emphasized that the operation of the Hungary-China air bridge remained a priority in order to ensure that the tools necessary for the success of health protection were available at all times.

The seven aircraft delivered a total of 4.6 million face masks, 1.39 million gloves, 30,000 test kits, 1,500 patient care monitors, 190 ventilators and 8.2 tons of mask materials to Hungary over the weekend.
