MINSK, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 913 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, taking its total to 20,168, the country's health ministry has said.
Among the infected, 5,076 people have recovered, while 116 people with chronic diseases have died from COVID-19.
As of Thursday, close to 230,000 tests for coronavirus infection have been conducted across the country, with confirmed cases accounting for 8.7 percent of the tests performed. Enditem
