Brunei reports no new COVID-19 cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported no new cases of the COVID-19 on Monday, with the national tally of cases standing at 141.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, no new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Monday, maintaining the total number of recovered cases at 134. The number of active cases being treated at the National Isolation Center is still six.

Two patients remain in critical condition. One of them requires Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and respiratory assistance and one case only requires respiratory assistance. The rest are in a stable condition.

There has been one death resulting from the COVID-19 in Brunei.

So far 108 individuals are still undergoing quarantine and some 16,037 laboratory tests for the COVID-19 have been conducted. Enditem
