KHARTOUM, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Sudan on Monday reported 161 new COVID-19 cases and four new deaths related to the disease, bringing the total cases in the country to 1,526 and the death toll to 74.
Nationwide recoveries from the disease climbed from 149 to 161 after 12 more patients had been discharged from hospitals, authorities said in a statement.
On Friday, the Sudanese government extended the full curfew in Khartoum State for 10 more days from May 9 to curb the spread of the pandemic. Enditem
