Brunei reports no new COVID-19 cases for 11 straight days

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported no new cases of the COVID-19 on Monday with the national tally of cases standing at 141, marking the eleventh consecutive day without new cases since May 7.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, no more recoveries were recorded on Monday, maintaining the total number of recovered cases at 136. The number of active cases being treated at the National Isolation Center is still four.

Two patients remain in critical condition. There has been one death resulting from the COVID-19 in Brunei.

The ministry said that so far 101 individuals are still undergoing quarantine and some 17,414 laboratory tests for the COVID-19 have been conducted. Enditem
