BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Qian Jianfen, a fugitive duty crime suspect, has returned to China to surrender herself to the authorities, China's top anti-graft authority announced Monday.

Qian, a former legal representative of an investment consulting company, was suspected of bribery and fled overseas in July 2019, according to a statement on the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervisory Commission.

The anti-graft agency of Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, started an investigation on Qian's case in August 2019.

Her return is a major achievement of 2020, said an official in charge of fugitive repatriation and asset recovery, pledging for intensified manhunt of suspects of bribery or duty-related crimes who have fled abroad. Enditem
