KIEV, June 21 (Xinhua) -- At least two people have been killed following an explosion here in a ten-storey residential building.
The bodies of the two dead were found in the rubble after several floors of the building were destroyed, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs in a statement on Sunday. Three people were pulled from the rubble and 21 evacuated from the building.
Over 60 pieces of equipment and 420 rescuers are working at the scene. Local authorities will provide tents and food for the evacuees, it said.
Local media reported that three residents in the building remain missing, adding the Prosecutor's Office of Kiev has launched a criminal investigation. Enditem
