QINGDAO, China, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Sharks beat Guangzhou Loong Lions 105-101 as the latter suffered their third straight loss in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Saturday.
Shanghai built up a 10-plus lead soon into the game before Guangzhou clawed back to narrow the gap to three points on 31-28 in the first quarter.
The two teams played a fast-paced and even game in the first half when Shanghai led by only 53-51 and the third quarter saw the lead was changed several times before Shanghai was ahead by 79-76.
After tying on 87 to all, Shanghai initiated an 8-0 run down the stretch to clinch the victory. Enditem
