Afghan man held for selling narcotics in Kabul

KABUL, July 5 (Xinhua) -- A man was arrested for keeping and selling a high amount of Tablet-K in Afghanistan's capital Kabul, the country's Ministry of Interior said Sunday.

The personnel of Counter-Narcotics Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) which is part of the Afghan National Police detected and confiscated 2,450 Tablet-K pills and arrested a man for selling the opiate in Police District 4 of the city recently, the ministry said in a statement.

The Tablet-K is the street name for a drug with stimulant effects.
