YEREVAN, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Armenia on Thursday reported 526 new COVID-19 cases, taking its overall tally of infections to 30,346, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) said.
The country also registered 14 additional fatalities in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 535.
Meanwhile, 573 more patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, the NCDC said, adding that a total of 129,166 people have undergone COVID-19 testing since the country reported its first case on March 1.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the coronavirus situation in Armenia is still unpredictable and the government is now working to open more intensive care units in hospitals. Enditem
