PARIS, July 9 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 1.21 percent, or 60.12 points, to close at 4,921.01 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 32 lost in the day.
French multinational electric utility company Engie lost 4.26 percent. Electrical systems designer and builder Thales shed 4.02 percent while European multinational aerospace corporation Airbus went down by 3.96 percent.
Capgemini, the multinational corporation that provides consulting, technology, professional and outsourcing services, advanced 2.41 percent. French international luxury group Kering rose 1.32 percent while France-based 3D product design company Dassault Systèmess added 1.19 percent. Enditem
