Wuhai-Maqin highway, first desert highway in NW China's Ningxia, under construction

The Qingtongxia-Zhongwei section of the Wuhai-Maqin highway is under construction in Zhongwei City, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, July 10, 2020. The 122.9-kilometer-long Qingtongxia-Zhongwei section of the Wuhai-Maqin highway is under construction, of which an 18-kilometer-long section going through the Tengger Desert is the first desert highway in Ningxia and is expected to be finished in 2021.
