DAMASCUS, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Two children were killed on Tuesday when a land mine exploded in their neighborhood in the southern province of Daraa, state news agency SANA reported.
The land mine exploded in the city of Sheikh Miskeen in the northern countryside of Daraa, said the report.
Two other people were wounded in the explosion, said SANA, adding that the land mine is from the leftovers of the rebels who had been present in that area.
Dozens of people have been either killed or wounded by similar explosions in formerly rebel-held areas in the country. Enditem
