BEIJING, July 17 (Xinhua) -- A 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Papua New Guinea at 10:50 a.m. Friday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 7.86 degrees south latitude and 147.70 degrees east longitude.
