SOFIA, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Bulgaria's coalition government of the center-right GERB party and the nationalist United Patriots on Tuesday survived a fifth no-confidence motion in parliament.

In the 240-seat parliament, 102 deputies backed the fifth motion against the coalition government that took office in 2017, while 124 voted against it and 11 abstained.

The motion was filed by the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party on July 15, accusing the government led by GERB Chairman Boyko Borissov of its failure in anti-corruption policies.

Over the last 30 years, all no-confidence motions in Bulgaria were unsuccessful. Enditem
